Supply and install mechanical systems for Ringwood Aquatic Centre (Aquanation). Aquanation was a full green build, and this approach was integral to our design of the mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and specified building materials.
As a green build, energy efficiency and environmental impact were key considerations across all design aspects. Brenair was responsible for the design and installation of the complete HVAC system serving the pool facilities, gymnasium, childcare facility, dry training room, and change rooms.
Due to the additional heat load from the heated pool, cooling was provided through an Adiabatic Cooling unit housed within the main plantroom. An adiabatic condenser water system was also installed to support efficient heat removal.
As part of the HVAC scope, Brenair planned and installed wall-mounted sweep fans, kitchen exhaust fans, and dedicated make-up air systems. Brenair also completed all relevant electrical works and customised a Building Automation System to provide enhanced control and operation.
